Local Church Leadership

Rev. Holly's commitment to UCC at-large is grounded in her emphasis on local church ministry and leadership.

LOCAL CHURCH LEADERSHIP

"Holly MillerShank has impressed me for several years now with her strong commitment to the mission and ministry of the UCC, her wonderful habit of thinking theologically and critically, and her continually holding together the past, present, and future generations."

- Rev. Marti Baumer*

Holly teaches children about all God's creatures.

Holly teaches children about all God's creatures.

Holly has a deep and abiding passion for the local church. She is a member of St. Paul's UCC in Schaefferstown PA. Holly served as the settled pastor and teacher of Grace UCC in Lebanon, Pennsylvania for five years. While serving on the UCC national staff in Cleveland, Holly was active at Church of the Redeemer UCC in Westlake, OH. In addition she served as the Intentional Interim Minister at Olmsted Community Church in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, as a sabbatical supply minister at East Congregational Church in Milton, MA and as a bridge minister at First Congregational Church in Gardner, MA.

Rev. MillerShank believes that the core of ministry is located within the Local Church. It is there that faith becomes alive, community is formed and the Spirit challenges us to live the love and justice of Jesus.
