Commitment to Justice

Driven by a commitment to justice, Rev. Holly MillerShank marries UCC beliefs with the addressing of current issues faced by today's world.

COMMITMENT TO JUSTICE

"Holly MillerShank has an open heart, a listening ear with a passion and vision for the future of the United Church of Christ."

- Edith Guffey*

"Holly is extremely committed to the social justice ministries of the church. In this regard, her activities in her congregation and in her denomination have been exemplary. I have been impressed by the ways that her various experiences of serving the denomination in a multitude of capacities have informed her understanding of religion and the global environment."

- Professor Lee Barrett**

Holly is a committed advocate and activist for justice. She spent several years with the UCC Office of Public Life and Social Policy in Washington, D.C., working on Latin American trade agreements, the Colombia Mobilization, and efforts to close the School of the Americas. Holly has a passion for bringing issues of justice to the local church, pairing contemporary conversations with strong scriptural grounding.
